Catching fish is easy! Just cast your rod into a body of water and wait for a fish to bite. If you do not get a fish after a few pulls, check your fish codex to see where you can find every fish.
You can weigh your fish in the scales to determine the exact weight of your fish. (/fish scales)
Knowing the exact weight of the fish will either increase its value or lower it depending on the weight.
You have 4 options to determine the exact weight.
Tournaments will automatically start every 2 hours and will run for 30 minutes. There must be a minimum of 3 players online for a tournament to start.
There are 3 types of tournaments:
Length: Catch the longest fish out of anyone else competing to win!
Most Catch: Catch the most fish out of anyone competing to win!
Random Catch: Catch the specific randomly selected fish to win!
You can sell fish to the /fish shop for set prices, you can view the prices in that menu by hovering over the Map item.
The special fish will reward a bonus multiplier for catching and selling that specific fish.
Every 240 minutes the special fish will reset and randomly choose another fish and multiplier combination.
Entropy is used as the fishing currency. You earn this in many forms and is used to craft augments and upgrade your deliveries in /fish deliveries.
Entropy is essential to your entire experience within fishing. Without it, you cannot upgrade your deliveries or craft augments.
There are many ways to earn entropy. Below is a table outlining all of the possible ways to earn Entropy from fish themselves. Below will be ways that you can increase the output of the values.
These are only default values and these may differ from what your server offers. You can view the Gutting Values in /fish gut. Catching values must be manually calculated by using your fish stats

Bronze | 45 | 40 |
Silver | 100 | 120 |
Gold | 150 | 200 |
Diamond | 500 | 500 |
Platinum | 3000 | 1000 |
Mythical | 10000 | Not Guttable |
Below are the different ways entropy can be increased / maximised.
If you wish to maximise your Entropy earnings, you should invest in the following Augments:
Augment
|
Description
|
Hot Spot | Ables you to catch multiple fish at once, allowing you to Gut more fish for more Entropy |
Call of the Storm | Same as Hot Spot but works in the rain. |
Precision Cutting | Gives you more entropy from gutting fish. |
Perception | Gives you more entropy from catching fish. (multiplies the base entropy earnings) |
The best way to multiply the amount of entropy you earn is through boosters. These can be earned from delivery rewards. You can check your booster status using /fish boosters
Entropy Boosters can have any multiplier attached to them. These will last 30 minutes each and provide a boost to the entropy earned from catching fish only. Entropy Boosters do not affect gutting or any other forms of earning entropy.
Totems are another excellent way to earn Entropy - however Totems are mid to late game multiblock structures. Using the Entropy Horder passive ability allows you to earn up-to 25% more entropy from every fish you catch.
You might also want to consider using Mythical Waters and Fish Schools as these will increase the tiers of fish you catch and increase Hot Spot and Call of the Storm to work more often.
Fishing Skills can also be very important to stocking up and building up your entropy stores while fishing.
It is advised to put a few points into the Better Gutting and Luck of the Catch skills as these help to improve your entropy from Gutting and from Catching Fish respectively.
Furthermore, putting points into Master Augmenter can benefit if you wish to craft Perception and Precision Cutting and don't already have those augments.
Check out the Skill page for more information on Skills.

Augments are essentially custom enchantments that are crafted using a cauldron. These can ONLY be applied to Fishing Rods currently and enhance different aspects of fishing when used.
Below is a list of all of the fishing augments. Most Augments can be viewed in game using /fish augments. Some augments will not appear here such as seasonal ones and upcoming augments.

There are currently 10 different skills that you can upgrade that will benefit different areas of the plugin as you upgrade them.
To upgrade skills, you require Skill Points. You earn one Skill Point every time you level up in fishing.
To access the skills menu in game - type /fish skills, or click on the icon in the main menu.
There are currently two different types of skills, and each have different impacts, and leveling up features attached to them.
There are currently 5 Upgradable Skills. These cost one point to upgrade each time and give dimenishing returns based on how many points you spend on that skill.
These skills act as 'passive' effects rather then a skill. These cost a flat amount of Skill points (usually 10) to purchase. After you have purchased it, that skill is forever active for you.
However, these skills scale with your Fishing Level. This means that the higher Fishing Level you are - the better these skills will preform.
To maximise on these skills - try leveling up as much as you can.
Use these commands to help navigate the fishing features. Happy fishing!
